There’s something incredibly special about photographing a family for their second pregnancy. You already know each other, there’s trust and excitement — and this time around, there’s a toddler in the mix, which means double the fun and energy!

I recently had the absolute joy of welcoming back the lovely Windsor Mill Family for their modern maternity photography session. We worked together during their first pregnancy and created something elegant and serene. This time, we wanted to go in a completely different direction — something cool, stylish, and fun, while still staying true to our signature minimalist aesthetic.

The vision? A modern twist on our timeless approach. We leaned into sleek wardrobe choices and clean backdrops, creating an atmosphere that allowed their connection and growing story to shine through. Big brother-to-be brought so much charm to the session — playful moments, sweet snuggles, and a few giggles that made everything feel real and joyfully candid.

What I love about this session is how it reflects where this family is right now. Not just the beauty of pregnancy, but the beautiful chaos of life with a toddler, the love that’s deepened over time, and the anticipation of welcoming another little one.

Every maternity session is a new story, even with the same family. And this one? It was a perfect blend of fun and timeless, wrapped in our modern, minimalist style that continues to evolve with each family's journey.
